Dozer Track Frame Noise Suppression

Hushpak has developed a track plate noise suppression system. The design includes a bolt on cover plate over its sound suppression components, allowing for the replacement of these components when necessary. When the track plates require refurbishment, the Hushpak suppression components can be quickly removed and refitted.

Tests are currently being undertaken on new designs for the rear idler that will remove the majority of resonant noise. This is a major area of noise generation on dozers and was identified through the use of sound cameras. Once finalised, these tests will provide another Hushpak-led technological advance for the mining and civil engineering industries.
